Still going strong! :)

So I have recoverd very well from surgery! :) For those of you that dont know the story after day 5 off the meds and actually doing really well I had to have emergency gallblader surgery. I was really bummed. But I went through the surgery well and only took a total of 3 pain killers before I flushed them. Life is sooooo much better now! I have realized that the pills didnt make me super mom. I can do just as much and better without them. Mine and my husbands realationship is alot better, and Im able to sit back and enjoy my kids more, without running around in circles like a crazy person, not really accomplishing anything. We got a ton of snow on Sunday, so we had a few days where my husband couldnt make it to work which was really nice us all being together and spending quality time together. Its amazing how much easier everything is, how much more enjoyable like could be. I wish I would have never gotten hooked on those damn pills...... but most of all Im just glad Im not anymore...... :)

Hello, dont think weve ever talked but I wanted to say congrats! And also your story gives me hope, that whole thing about running around like a crazy person, that was me also lol I have 3 kids, 2 very small and I "thought" the pills made me energetic and take better care of them. I cant wait till I am saying what you are right now, that life is better without them and I can do just as much (I'm on day 1, took my last vic yesterday at 2pm) Congrats again, and great job on the will power to flush the rest :) ~Courtney~
