Suboxone is truly the way to go. Dont let others tell you different. Ya its another drug to kick. But it gets you away from the riff raft, it doesnt come up in a pee test and when you go to get off of it it may be longer but its an easier withdrawal. Im on day 8 off subs and though I struggle, I function, hell Im eating food...everyday, well almost. Ive done the hard cold turket 2 month kicks, subs is a different game altogether, and a much better alternative. Start making phone calls with that in mind. Good luck, I know where your at, were riding the same train brother.
"how can i get put on zaboxin i have herd lots of good things about zaboxin"
I think you mean Suboxone. There are programs that help people who can't afford it and since you're not working you may be able to get on Medicaid to cover part of the cost. Otherwise it is expensive.
Since you''re a long term opiate abuser you're a good candidate to stay on it for an extended period to allow you some clean time off street drugs to get your life straightened out and break old habits and ties. My history is similar to yours and it worked for me. I was on it for 3 years and once I got myself together tapered myself off slowly and have been able to stay clean so far.
Then there are people who get clean without using Sub. If you can get into a residential treatment program and give yourself time to detox with the help of NA it might be enough for you. It depends on how bad you want it and the coping skills you have developed while in treatment.
In any event I wish you the best of luck..
Go to an NA meeting in your area asap, someone will be able to help you. I don't know about your area, so can't give specifics. Do something, anything you can.
