Don't focus on the one day you gave in, look at the 100 days you won! Every day is a battle and every day you go to sleep without having taken anything is a battle you won. You KNOW you can do it! You've already proven to yourself that you can live without those damn pills. I say just brush yourself off and hop back on the wagon. Don't ever give up, your worth fighting for.

Welcome back, thanks for your honesty.Hey 1 day out of 100 means you were clean 99% of the last 100 days for drug addicts like us thats amazing. At this time you can get back connected to recovery without going through W/Ds and getting all cought up in addictive activities.I know that I am greatful that I dont have to get my scrips chase down other drug contacts, try to have enough pills to get me through til my next score.Life is soo much beter living clean and drug free.I have 109 days today and your story will keep me clean and sober today.I will pray for you

Hey girl.  I have relapsed so many times.  This time I am doing it.  I am going to fight for my life.  I went to TWO meetings today, because I NEEDED to!  I put some other things on hold to do that for myself.  Put your sobriety at the top of your "to do" list each day, and FIGHT like H3LL for your life!  Kick, scratch, bite and claw for your sobriety!  Pills don't deserve to win, and they won't unless you let them!

You can do this, and you are worth it!!!

Hey....im so sorry to here of your relapse...ive followed your story all the way out of the darkness and its so hard to watch people relapse...especially with 100 days clean
you have proven to yourself you can do this...I agree with the other posters that this is just a slip or a bump in the road to recovery...don't throw in the towel because of one bad day
you had 100 good days b/4 this happened...pic up the pieces and dust yourself off and start over tomorrow b/4 it gets its hooks in you again...learn from your experience...
put some sort of aftercare in place...its not optional its a necessity...anyone around here with significant clean time is working on some sort of aftercare...you can only do so much alone b/4 the demons in our mind take over and run us into the ground there are lots of ways to seek help...N/A A/A or a substance abuse conslor or a combo of them works for most of us give it a try ..you have to guard your clean time with your life
otherwise it may very well cost you yours...good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

A relapse can be depressing, but it can also be a tremendous learning experience. Be honest with yourself and figure out, what part of your recovery was suffering before the drug use, and next time, you'll know what to look out for! Hang in there, plenty of people have been in your shoes and giving up is not the best option!

Hi mercedeze
I would say you know how to be clean for 100 days.
We cant have a victory with out a battle, This is just part of your story, it's up to each one of us  we have all done that
Just be honest with your self maybe your not an addict who knows thats your business if you are its up to you to just do it again don't give up, its just one day at a time . Its not a big deal,  its just a bump in the road, addiction likes to keep us miserable good luck !
Peace/Love

Just yesterday????  Then get up, dust yourself off and get back on they sobriety horse and RIDE IT.   Ride it alllllllll the way back to another hundred days. You kicked the opiates butt before apparently, and you're gonna let ONE day make you think they have you beat??  NO WAY!!  100 days is amazing. Forget about yesterday, it was ONLY ONR DAY. DON'T let it turn into two or three, or worse. BUT, turn that one non-sober day back into another 100 incredible clean days. You did it once, you can do it again. You are NOT defeated by this, just a small setback. You're beating yourself up and you don't deserve that. You deserve CONGRATS on your 100 clean days, and a small kick in the booty to pit you back on track just in case your vision is clouded, and you can't see the right path. 100 days......right path........yesterday, wrong turn. Like I said, get back on that horse/wagon, and turn RIGHT. Good luck!! You can do it, you already know you can. Just don't take that wrong turn where all the signs tell you that you can't. You know better. Congrats again on your 100 days. Amazing!!!  Quit today with no w/d's. Quit today before you even have the fear of the w/d's. Just DO IT!!!!

Congrats on the 100 days. One little setback will not do you in. Sometimes people take one step back, but then keep moving forward. This can help you realize what your trigger is and how to avoid them. Hang in there and stay clean.
