I have watched many come on sick and then we seem to come around and get Silly, Goofy, and the Since of Humor just travels around on this Net.
I can actually say that 2 things came out of being a Addict. I walk closer with my Spirit again AND I meet the most Beautiful, Sharing, Caring people I have ever known in a long ash time.

Hey all! I just wanted to thank Miss Evolver for this post. Thank you everyone for all of the encouragement and support. I love you all and would not have made it to this point without you. To everyone starting out, I know how rough it is. I was there 2 months ago, going through withdrawls in a semi truck! I'm not lying! It gets better. I promise. I am looking forward to 6 months now! Yay! I hope that everyone has a great day today.  Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart!

Thank You ALL!!! I wanted to share something personal and maybe not very many will see this. BUT we always say on here that we need to stay away from user friends and get rid of phone numbers and such. Well like a dumb ash I thought because I had some time behind me I could go see a few friends I grew up with since I was 17. This would be about 40 years. Oh boy one was spun on the same3 drugs I was on and is also buying crank from the streets. The other one was drunk. I knew there were lines in the bedroom. You bet your sweet ash that the temptation was there. I looked at them and thought to myself. OMG was I like this or that. Did I use all theses excuses like them..It was a big wake up call AGAIN. And I ran out just as fast as I came in..Quicker even. That is when my Truck broke down. The vets had my Bank card but said they did not until the next day after I search every where for 3 hours in town on foot. Got home and the Dr called and said my Mom cancer was back. Her dog went messing and mine had to have surgery the next day and so much more happen.This all happen in a day or two. So the moral of this story is that I WILL NOT go around ANYBODY that uses ever again. I Knew Better!! NO NO I did not use..I want to live..I am to darn old and I already pass Jails, Institutions I will die. So Please for anybody who is trying to stay clean, please keep your Boundaries up and do not go around your old stomping grounds. It can be a big bad trigger.. Like Sarah always says and it is the truth..GUARD UP ALWAYS & FOREVER!!!!!

Seriously Vickie, you are such a kind and genuine person that has inspired me since the first day I found MH.  Thank you for the unconditional support and encouragement you have given to me and so many others here, even during times that you have been struggling yourself.  I am honored to walk along beside you on this road to recovery, and even more so to be your friend.  Congrats again my dear Moose Lips - you deserve all the good things life can bring and then some.  Thank you SO very much....love you girl  :)
