Hey You're doing it!
Don't stop..You CAN do this. The stuff you're talking about is acute the inability to lie still will subside soon. I know it's difficult but it is oh so worth it.
'Natural Calm' (a Cal/Mag/Potassium/Ascorbic Acid & D3 ) powder you mix with water should help make you drowsy and mitigate some of the muscle ache. If you can't get 'Natural Calm' (I'd call around to health food stores) then just get a regular Cal/Mag powder. GABA, an essential amino acid might also help. The Trazadone might help but you can definitely get a hangover from it if you take too much. Benadryl might also help a little w/ sleep in the acute phase but I wouldn't take it any longer than that.
Wishing you the very best!
I found the thread vic was talking about, there is a lot of good info on it about sleep. Check it out!

lol its very quiet in my house in the middle of the night, if i turned on the bath water it would wake up everyone in the house and they would think im nuts taking a bath in the middle of the night lol, maybe i will start taking them before bed when i get my dose down and off, i get so hopeful about quitting until the arms and back stuff starts, i was taking the cal mag zinc, but i think this time im going to just take mag and potassium, and i bought a L-amino acid complex last time i quit and its like 6 big old horse pills everyday, i also have l-tyrosine if i ever make it that far lol
Oh blogout the stuff you are talkng about besides the seriquil ( not sure how its spelled) but that just made my w/d worse. It intensed the methedone. How about the magnz. I get the relaxamag and the magnz oil and rub it on my pain areas and bottom of feet for sleep...I take some of the amino acids I talked about with. Sometimes I have to add a melatonin once in awhile. Sleep has been real good since I posted about it. Got some good tips on things I was doing. Like coffee at night, TV was on, The flashing lights, ect it was very good info...Are you streching or taking the hot magnz salt baths...That works wonders..
Hang in....I am your cheer leader...Ha!

this is only my opinion, keep in mind that i'm not a medical professional and nor is anyone else on this site... but, i wouldn't take another medication to dole out the pain from the one you're trying to get off of. not to mention, i don't think it's worth it to even try. you'll be surprised at how much more proud you will be for not giving in to taking something else.
The trazadone will help but I doubt you will get a full night sleep with it. I would sleep for a few hours after taking it then toss and turn for the rest of the night. Some doctors prescribe it for back pain so maybe it will help. Wishing you the best of luck with it.
they dont really feel like spasms, just a constant urge to stretch that makes it better only while doing it then it goes back to that uncomfortable tense feeling again, that along with my back hurting makes me cave everytime, does anyone know if trazadone or ambien will make you sleep through the arm tension and back ache??
hmmmmm, mine weren't spasm like, per se - but it bothered me to the point where i wasn't able to get the sleep i knew i needed to get. i did get through them though. you have to think about it.....
your body is so used to us dumping these nasty chemicals into them day in and day out. your body gets "used" to them running through your bloodstream. and now that it's gone, it's trying to adhere to the changes your body is currently going through. everything in your body needs to reform and change to get used to the "new" non-existant chemical intake you're going through. when this happens, your muscles sort of "change" - at least that's how it was described to me when i was going through it, and not understanding what the heck it was that i was feeling at the time, lol!!
Hi guy...Hope you are feeling a bit chipper today!!Any way check out a old post of mine regarding sleep. It has alot of great info in it..It says Anybody with Months of clean time HELP!! I knew that these people would have some experinces in this area. My sleep has been good.Yes I have a mild disabled R shoulder and lower back pain that will wake me up now and then. It took me many many months to balance out on it all. So just take one min at a time and prepare your self for all the info you have read here on what, how and why we use the things we do. You have been here for awhile there bud so start stocking it up. lol u can do it...I will be your CHEER LEADER.....Go Go...
