Milestone - 30 days

Hey guys and gals,

Today is 30 days opiate free for me! I went c/t off a norco/Percocet habit and tho I'm still sort of sluggish and achy, I am getting better everyday. I'm on this forum pretty much everyday, and I just want to say thanks for all the support. I plan to post again at 60 days, unless the need arises in the interim. To everybody with 7 days or less, keep moving forward. I know it's rough, but we all deserve to be face to face with common grace. Good luck to all.

Thanks everybody. I'm planning on attending a meeting this weekend. I appreciate all the kind words.

@velvet I used to itch whenever I took oxy or hydro. I think it's a pretty common side effect.

Is itching a side effect of oxycodone.  How to deal with it?

WOW!  Congrats on 30 days!  That is a big milestone!  Sounds like you are feeling pretty good!!
Like the posts above said aftercare is huge now!  Make sure you have people who are encouraging you and ones that are able to call you out on stuff when you need that too!!!  It will be a lifeline having them in your corner!

hey congrats on 30 days  get to a N/A meeting and pick up a 30 day key tag.....now is time to start the meetings  just because you stopped the pills does not = recovery  your still left with the addict in your head and your disease is doing push ups in your driveway  this is a critical part of recovery google a N/A meeting near you...................Gnarly
