Hello plg83 welcome to the forum.. I'm very sorry to read that you are having to deal with your daughters addiction to Heroin.. I can imagen you are very frightened for her and your grandchildren.. I'm a ex heroin addict.. I can assure you she does have a chance to get clean and live a healthy life for herself and the kids. You also need support for what you are dealing with. they have a wonderful program called alanon it is for the family's of addicts. you learn a way of helping without contributing to her addiction and gain support for yourself.. many of us move from the town we use in as a means to break free.. also in patient detox.. but the biggest thing is she has to want to get clean.. I know the destruction this addiction leaves in it's wake and I will say a prayer for you and yours.. I hope we hear from you again as their are many here that may be able to help you.. alanon is in almost every town and is free so Please look it up. also if you have communication with your daughter you my suggest she also look into this forum.. there is a great group of addicts in all stages of recovery here.. Keep the children safe is the #1 thing that has to be done.You haven't really let anyone know what is going on so know one can give advice if they haven't a clue.
