Need help getting friend/ex/roomie off of Vicodin

It's day 2 of no yellow norcos... and I'm afraid the worst is yet to come for her... how do I keep her going?Her spirits are down and her mother wont speak with her because she found out about her addiction during a horrible break up. I love her but am no longer attracted to her that way. Now I just want her to get better. She has hit rock bottom. I dont know where to go and being that I told her parents about her 2 year addiction, I am the enemy in a sense. Her mother wont even take her calls which I find to be horrible. Her dad cut her off financially and work is hard to come by for a great graphic designer.

Day two is still very early and I am sure she is feeling pretty bad .I am glad you are there to support her threw this .I hope with time her family will come around she needs there support as well.I would encourage her to look into some type of after care aa/na is free  or therapy ( when she can afford it ). As mr dee said take a look at the amnio acid protocol that has many supplements that can help her. Getting outside and getting a little exercise well help alot as well.If you can try to get her on her .It will help her to know she is not alone so many of us hear have been where she is and it does get better.

Cold turkey is a tough way to go if she still has some i would think to try to ween her off if not then there is a this Amino Acid Protocol at the lower right of this page that is quite helpful
i have weened myself down and taking lots of vitamin b complex to help its not easy thats for dam sure keep encouraging her sounds like you may be her only support network and that is critical
wish i could be of more help lost of folks here are far more helpful than i as I'm just trying to stay afloat myself
