Need help getting off Tramadol

Hello

I have been a heavy user of Tramadol for about 7 years now. I finally decided to attempt to stop using Suboxone. When I first took it you had to be a state of withdrawal. It did help some but still had fatigue and depression. I am imagining that it is not entirely helping due to the way that Tramadol affects serotonin and noripinephrine. Does anyone know of a way to use another drug to successfully quit tramadol?

Thanks

I would NOT use anything do a very slow taper off and then when you are off start the imnio acid protocol plz just do not take either 5 hpt or SAM e while you are on tramadol or at least be very far down like under 150 mg a day and I would not use a full doseage of 5hpt .I used 5hpt and a drug called Ltyrosine after i got off the tramadol it really helped me so much along with exercise .it does get better

SubDoc Jeff addressed a tram withdrawal on his Expert Addiction forum......you might want to check that out - - probably via search engine.  If I remember correctly his advice was a long steady taper.......  The amino acids 5-HTP and SAMe (either one) may help - - Not aware of other measures.........Time is a big factor..
