So here we Go Again.

About three weeks ago I decided it was time to kick a dilaudid habit.  I got through the first couple days okay but then after a very severe bout of pain I began using again.  Things went from bad to worse really quickly and needless to say the last couple of weeks has been really out of control.
So here we go again,  Day one sober...
Wish me luck guys because I am starting to feel pretty crappy right now. But am trying to remind myself that in the end it will be worth it.

Good luck. I will be starting detox next thursday. I also failed my first time after 3 days. The good thing is now I no what to expect this time around and so will you. Also if you have a doctor he can help with some of the withdrawal symptoms. My doctor has been fantastic and has gotten me prepared. His confidence in me has given me more confidence in myself. He can give you scripts for sleeping pills for a couple of weeks and what ever you need for your withdrawals. Keep reading other postings while going thru your withdrawals. It keeps your mind of things and noing that there are so many others out there in the same situations helps too.

Thanks very much..
Feeling pretty bad at the moment,  I know this is something I have to do but that doesn't make it easy.
I have to keep telling myself that I will get through and will feel better in a few days.  I am trying to keep busy, but have very little energy.  I am thinking if I hadn't have screwed up after quitting once that I would all throw with this by now..
Oh well live and learn.....Sometime...
