comparison and detox

I've been on oxy 30mg 2x a day for about a year.  I wanted to get off this stuff because I am addicted to them.  My dr put me on Opana 20 mg and also gave me the oxy.  He was suppose to give me the oxy for 5 days but gave me for 30 days.  Yeah!!!  My question is which is stronger the Opana 20mg or the oxy 30mg?  I want off the oxy.  I need help to detox.  Should I have someone give me 45 mg for 3 da ys then 30 mg for 3 days then 15 mg for 3 days to taper off?  or should I just go cold turkey and suffer?  I am also on Soma, Gabpentin and sleeping pills.  I need some advice to detox myself with less pain  as possible.  Thank you so much if you respond to me.

The meds are all very similar. Are you abusing your pills or are you just physically dependent?  By tapering any withdrawals will be less (the slower you taper, the less you'll feel it.)  If you go CT, you'll feel it but it will be over in 3 to 7 days.)  You'll get lots of support here & there are supplements & such that will help with any symptoms. I personally would not take the Opans & I would get off the OxyContin & then the oxyco done.  I would also talk to your physician & get his help in setting up the taper & I would also let him know about the error in giving you 30 days rather than 5 days.  If he finds out, he might drop you as a patient.

Are you still going to take the Opana? I'm not clear on what you're wanting to do with all the meds...
