I agree with crazykid above -- Hi can get a doctor to prescribe Suboxone and stop the W/Ds almost instantly -- then begin immediately to wean from the suboxone. Those who get off in less than 21 days are free - the others become addiced to it and it becomes their master. You need to read up on it and go it with your eyes open but it can be a miracle drug for those who really want off and want to elliminate 90 + per cent of the W/D's - be able to work, sleep, and not so zoned out friends can only think they are needing to be locked up. Do some study on Suboxone and I'm sure you will want to try it. Best of luck
I was abusing oxycotin for a year, much higher dose than that, about 800 mg/day at my peak. I went to rehab, after trying to quit by tapering about 5 times, which never worked, you will get bad withdrawls for about 3 days. I went to rehab and still had insomnia, chills, and aches after 30 days. So now I am on suboxone, which is an opiate blocker, no withdrawls and I guess it is easier to get off of once the doctor says it is ok to do. Do not quit cold turkey. He has to want to quit also.
