HI and welcome to the forum.....well you came to a great place for help doing this
first off congratulations just wanting the madness to stop...there are 2 schools of thought out on how to do this you can just jump off C/T and get it over with...usually in a week or so you start to recover or you can step down a little at a time to a lower dose this spreads the withdrawal out over a longer period but the final withdrawal is not as sever..both ways will get it done but C/T is much faster and tapering is difficult to do without help...look up in the top right hand corner of the screen...there is something called the thomas recipe
it is full of stuff to help make this a bit eazer ...go into this with a win win attitude it is 1/3 physical 2/3 mental so a positive attitude goes a long way...try not to let fear into the equation it is always worst in our minds then it actually is don't read anything into it ...it will be what its going to be...think of it like ketching the flu...the symptoms are similar with some added anxiety but like the flu its over in a week...YOU CAN DO THIS and we will be here to help and support you along the way...keep posting for support and let us know how it goes good luck and God bless......Gnarly
yeah, those stomach cramps are ***** . I found that the valerian root that i was taking to calm my anxiety and help me sleep at that time, helped me also with the stomach spasms, you could give it a try these first days.
I also ate a lot of bananas and took some magnesium, they will help your muscles ( legs/arms/stomach cramps). Drink a lot, eat healthy, try exercising a bit and lots of hot baths/showers. It can be done :) good luck, mommapink.
i'm going through some dental implants ( another reason to quit apart from the hearing loss ... ) and ibuprofene is just what i take for the pain. Try it before going for something stronger after the surgery, maybe it works for you too...
Try asking your doctor for a med called bentyl it for stomach cramps that A long with the imodium should help. Also if you look in the right hand collum you will see something called the {health pages} you will see something called the amino acid protocol it has supplements that will help. Its important you stay hydrated .When you have surgery is there some one that can hold you pills and give them to you .Also make sure they dont give you your DOC.Take them for the shortest time possible then switchover to advil .My hubby had some dental implants he never had to take any thin stronger then advil I will be hopin in the same for you .Hang in there let us know how you are doing ..

Now I know where the ringing in my ears as been coming from with some degree of certainty. I'm only two years in on pain meds but for a year and a half I have been questioning my doctor about this form of ringing in the ears to which he really never had an answer. I kept thinking it was years of operating heavy equipment possibly but now I have a feeling the meds are the culpred..
