I just can't wait to say this!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just a little premature,but I feel like it's New Years Eve and I'm waiting for the ball to drop and I just can't hold it in any more.In 2 1/2 hours I will Officially be  60 days drug free!!!!!!!!!!! I was happy when I got to 30 days,but I have to be honest I was comming off of 25mgs of methodone c/t and still suffering a little,but not anymore.Life is great,my family is whole again and I couldn't have done it without all of you.I will forever hold a special place in my heart for all of you.Especially you Lisa,I love you girl,you really pulled me through the other day.I think I'll stay up until midnight and bang some pots or something.lol.Much love to all of you old and new .I continue to pray for all of us everyday,God is good.Peace.

I had heard that ME has an awesome defense, and an offense better than New England Patriots.  After a 0 and 10 losing record last year, and after a lot of hard work, they have turned things around this year.  There's even talk of a dynasty!  My money's on them!

METHADONE hasn't a chance. The OXYCONTIN DEVILS,  the PERCOCET DEMONS, and other previous winners of the ADDICTION BOWL did not make it to any bowl games this year, after terrible seasons. Their dynasties are in the past.

I also read that ME's quarterback, Kim715, is awesome, and is headed for the hall of fame.  The coach, medhelp, has been very inspirational, and one of the reasons for their turnaround.  All in all, a terrific and winning team.

Seriously, my tears are in utter joy for you.  My prediction: ME-LIFE, METHADONE-0.

Thanks Mike and I'm sorry if we woke you with all the noise last night.lol.I have a special Thanks to you too,if you remember I had a really rough time in the beginning,and you were always right there pushing me forward and reminding me why I needed to keep going.If I would have given up back then I wouldn't have what I have today,the biggest thing being having my life back so thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all your support.You and Lisa were 2 of the key people who helped save my life.I want you to listen to the song 'Thats What Friends Are For ' today and crank it up because from this day forward everytime I hear that song you will be one of the first people I think of.Much love to you my friend.

That is awesome!!! I am kinda new at this so I have a question for you ms. 60 days free of methadone! :)
Can you get addicted to methadone after only taking it for about 7 days? I havent taken it in three days and feel great but I dont want to be addicted to that! Im coming off Lortab, by the way, Im nothing compared to you but Im 9 day clean from lortab! I am proud of that! I cant wait to say Im 60 days!! or even 30 days!! My life is so much clearer without anything! And Im happy and my children are happy and okay.........now Im going to cry.

Just readiny you guys posts have inspired me to know that I can do it and I will!! and better yet, I ALMOST HAVE! :)

Congratulations on your 60 days, Kim715 - I can hear the excitement in your (written) voice! And it is really inspiring for all. I am sure that you helped many people today who are struggling, thinking they can't do it, then reading about how you are doing it - and how much it has paid off in such a short time!

I'm assuming you were taking the methodone to lessen the w/d from the loratab,thats not a good idea.You asked me if you can become addicted to it in just 7 days and thats a tricky question in your case because you already have an addiction to opiates.Don't let the fact that you are feeling good after 3 days fool you ,methodone has a half life of up to 72 hours some say.I only say this to you so that you will be prepared if you wake up tomorrow and are not feeling so well.I am certain you will not feel the w/d symptoms of someone who has been on it for a long period of time,but you might experience some physical discomfort or some high anxiety.Please stay away from the methodone,you don't need it you can do this without it.I'm praying for you. Peace.
