preyend you have a really really bad case of the flu. Get an electric blanket force yourself to take really hot baths with Epson salt soaks. Eat BRAT diet in small amounts as frequently as every couple of hours ( bananas, rice, applesauce, and tea) take lomotil, get a prescription for Cymbalta ( great for pain and depression) if possible. Take Advil or Aleeve ( unless you aren't supposed to use nonsteroidals) Tylenol ( if your liver tests are normal). Be determined and love yourself. Don't worry about not sleeping. You can sleep in a few weeks and your body will make you fall asleep sometimes! Good work!
Good Morning! Hope this finds you feeling a bit better! How far along are you with detox? Like said above the Thomas Recipe gives some good suggestions for help with the detox! The supplements and baths are lifesavers and really will help with some of the symptoms!!! Try to get outside and walk a little bit everyday! I took my dog for so many walks that first week just to get out and it was inDec. so it was Cold!!! But it really helped!
Like Sherry said the rest is just time and patience! Just keep remembering just "one more day" and it will get better! I felt good enough after a week to go back to work and it really helped to keep my mind busy!!!
Keep on posting and let us know how you are getting on!!!!
Lots of stuff to help.Definitely the Thomas recipe should be looked up because its the way to go.What I found that helped tremendously is immodium.Name brand not generic.I took double(sometimes triple)the dose recommended for about4days(No longer that absolutely necessary cause it can cause issues taking it too long). It helped with the obvious symptoms its supposed to but also with other symptoms of w/d.Immodium,hot baths, tylenol p.m. and some anxiety meds I was prescribed got me through w/d.Good luck.Keep posting.
Hi there!! Did you look up the Thomas Recipe? Some say it helps to ease withdrawal symptoms. Really the only true home remedy is time and patience, it will be tough, but each day gets better. Hang in there, stay strong and let us know how your doing. The folks on here are wonderful and will help any way they can. ~ Sherry
