One week!

So I know my situation is not nearly as serious as others on here but I do have a problem and ill admit that..I was taking percocets for roughly 4 months everyday, the mg varried day by day but I decided I was done with them last Wednesday. I then made a 8mg suboxone strip last me till yesterday to curb the wd's. now I am out and I'm feeling pretty good. Took my last dose 27 hrs ago and now I just need some guidance, advice or anything I can take to keep me going forward. Please share ANYTHING. That might help me. You all are so awesome a brave people! Much love

How about rearrange the house?  It's only a temp solution, but it will keep you focused on something.  Maybe even paint the walls a different color.  I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but how about get a puppy?  A puppy will keep you very busy and will give you a reason to go for a walk every day.

Thanks for the support! I'm too young to be making mistakes in my life like that, I just find it hard to stay motivated, I have no one in this city with me. Family is 1,200 miles away in Florida and I need them most now! But that's not going to happen :( just trying to find ways to stay busy and keep my mind off of the fact is the only hard part. I think I'm one of those people who always have to be doing something or I'm not happy. Any other suggestions?

"So I know my situation is not nearly as serious as others...."

We don't rate situations by whose been using the longest or who uses the most. There's no classifications here...everybody has a serious problem that were all trying to deal with. Don't feel like that....your problem is just as serious as the next persons.

Congrats on your first 24+hours completely clean!! That's huge! Just to make that step and commitment in the right direction...its great! Now...its one foot after the next. Keep walking forward and don't look back!

I like what Missy said about the exercise. There's many things you can do to help with the detox. Stay hydrated...try to eat even if your not hungry and stay plugged in to some kind of support for when you get those moments of weakness....

Your doing great...here's to you!

God bless

I am going to start an exercise routine to help me.  A lot of people have said it helps them so it might be worth a try.  Congrats on your one week with no percosets!
