I have been given the two together in treatment under close doctor supervision before, so it's fine in that setting for sure.  As far as doing it without talking to a doctor, don't!  Dangerous!!!

If you are planning on taking clonidine without your doctor's supervision, then please talk with them first because this will lower your blood pressure.  To directly answer your question on taking while taking subooxe, I did take clonidine when I was detoxing from suboxone, so there was not an issue with taking it while taking suboxone, but just taking it if you are not detoxing - with normal blood pressure - would definitely be something you would want to talk with your doc about.

That's something you need to go over with your doctor since he/she knows your health. If you are asking because you plan on taking them for withdrawals, you would probably only need one or the other. I have heard of clonodine being taken with suboxone when someone has been tapering and are down to a low dose. But since clonodine drops your blood pressure you really need to be monitored by a doctor while taking it. I was prescribed clonodine in the past for withdrawals and my doctor had me come in twice a week to get my blood pressure checked. It may also be helpful to call a pharmacist. Don't trust information from strangers on the net when it comes to your health. What may be safe for one may not be for another.
Best of luck to you and sorry I couldn't be of more help!
