Oxycodone withdrawls

I've been taking oxycodone mixed with methadone for the past year. It has recently become unavailable to me & I was forced to stop cold turkey. It's been 11 days without it now, & I've developed some issues over the past week. I can not sleep, day or night. I've gone through withdrawls before, but never had sleep issues. I'm tired, & I go to bed at a decent time (between 8-12 pm), but I just lie in bed with my eyes closed a night. I've tried tylenol pm & another over the counter sleep aid, without results. any suggestions, be it brands of over the counter sleep aids, tips, ect, would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you have made it 11 days, you are doing great and the agony will not last much longer -- then you will start to feel better.  After 11 days I would definitely not go back to using.  You can do this but it may be a really good idea to have a doctor check  you out.  Methadone is extremely difficult to quit but after 11 days you can surely go the rest of the way.  All the best.

I just got done detoxing from hydro was up to about 90 mg a day . 7 th day clean :) OMG I did cold turkey I totally understand. I am not familiar with methadone so dont count on my words 100%. But I spoke with my pharmicist and he recommended to me Melatonin (which is a natural remedy that our body producess's for sleep) And wow the first night I took it 6mg, I have to say knocked my butt out.... Hopefully this works for ya and stick with it. Everyone is different. Some can do taper and some c/t. Just be careful and have a support person you can talk to it is the best. I had my hubby. I couldn't have done it with out him. God be with ya  and stay strong !!!

Oh and really if there is anything else i can do let me know, i feel your pain, i had get off methadone years ago when they put my morphine pump in & it was hell( i did it in a hospital) good luck

sweetie coming off methadone n oxycodone cold turkey can be very dangerous. you need to be tapered down. I would contact the physician that use to prescribe those to you and ask for help, if you use to get those on the street reach out to detox center in your area, dont do this alone, not cold turkey.
