Oxycontin addiction

I am addicted to oxycontin.in other words...hdyrocone doesnt even affect me.and dont know if it ever will...But do the nightmares you have where your using subside eventually? I found that withdrawal got worse as days passed....so dont know how people have done it on their own..just self determination?

i gotoff the oxys.  with this forum....i just quit c/t.  and on another post gointomakeit  said it perfectly...when your desire to quit outweighs your desire to use you quit.  that happened for me.  i was determined to get off even if it killed me.  heck i was killing myself.  it was not easy but i have 100+ DAYS CLEAN!!!

i did it cold turkey from oxycontin with self determination, the people on this forum and the thought of being cell mates with buba for a few years...stay on the forum....and get whatever other help or motivation you need...get off the shizzit ...i find talkin about it here and with friends helps lots....a possitive attitude,....laughter and makin fun of myself has helped ...don't take life to serious but take the addiction serious....if i could go back in time i would have hit a 7 day detox to get over the hump...unfortunatly i was hiding my big dark secret from everyone........so i got a mandatorym 4 day and 17 hour detox...worst thing that has ever happened in my life but at the same time i felt total relief(commin out of the drug closet.no choice) and think it might be the best thing that ever happened...except for the 3 years i might spend in jail.......doh!....don't let the dope control you.......kick it's *** before it kicks yours....everyone here was right...the I'M DYING feeling goes away....it is tough though....but so do-able that i can't believe i wrecked my near future over it......i'll bounce back and my amazing recovery and motivation will keep me out of jail,,,,,right?.............I DON WANA GO BACK THERE>>>HELP<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>OMG HELP>>>>..phew,,,i'm ok......HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEELLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......good luck to you.........HEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!MY LIFE IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!HHHHHHEEEEEEELPPPPP.......hey but i'm sobber....ssssssweeeeeet...it makes it all worth while......i'm serious,,,,,,,,,,,,,,good luck,,,,,be clean

I did it with self determination,the help of the people on this forum, NA/AA meetings ( I go to AA) and counseling....

Yes the dreams do slow down and pretty much go away.
How many days clean are you? Or are you trying?
