PLEASE READ!

At the end of day 10, I feel the worse I have through this whole process. I was only abusing for 2 months, and I should not be feeling this way. I have now gone to my doc Friday and Monday. He increased my Buspar from 20 to 45 mgs. He also sent me to get blood work. All came out ok. I feel anxious all over. I did not eat very much during the weekend. I only slept a little. In fact, I was sleeping more in the first few days than now. I tingle all over, and its horrible. I wonder if it is from the buspar increase? Plus I switched back to regular Lexapro today. I dont know if thats it either. I really feel like I am getting worse. My doc told me I could go and see a phycistirst. Thats not the problem. My jaw hurts and so does my throat. He did a full exam, and everything is ok. What is going on???

Chad, I need to be brutally honest with you here. I don't believe withdrawal is your problem here. I remember you from two years ago because of your posting style and I remember several times you going through withdrawal. Each and every time you experience extreme anxiety which produces odd symptoms. Your jaw hurts, your eyes twitch, etc. this has been going on for a long time and I think it is time you seek professional help. I am not putting you down at all. I am trying to steer you in another direction. I have never seen anyone go through the things you do from drug withdrawal. It is time for you to change direction.

I know you were taking Lexapro in the past. It may be time, if you are still on it, to switch to something more effective for you.

I hope that you will talk with a professional and get the help you deserve. Listen to your doctor and go see the psychiatrist. Let him make any adjustments needed on your meds. Good luck and let us know how you are doing.

I am sorry you are having a hard time right now.  but honestly, I think it is still normal.  I know you were only on the pain pills for 2 months, but I think once the brain rewires itself and becomes addicted, it will go through the regular detox.  And from my experience, and from everything I have read, it takes a good 30-45 days before we really start feeling back to normal.  Personally, week 2 was harder for me because of the mental part, and because I thought it should have been over that quickly too.  I am on day 24, and most of the days I have started feeling better & better, but then today I had a really rough day.  So I guess we just need to take it as it comes and accept it for what it is.  As long as we don't go back to abusing pills, it HAS to get better.  Just try not to get too anxious about what you are feeling right now.  I know it is way easier said then done, though.  You are doing a great job!
