Percocet Withdrawel

Ok.......many years ago I had an Oxy addiction.  Successfully came off with methadone and successfully tapered off methadone as well and had been clean for around 10 years.

Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago.  I had pretty major surgery and was prescribed Percocet 7.5/325 (60).  In about 3 weeks I've been through 210 7.5s.  I'd take more than recommend dosage for the first few days of the script and then taper myself down to about 4 a day.  I'd refill and do the same again.  After 3+ refills I knew I needed to be done.  My last two days I had 2 doses of 2 percs.  Last dose was nearly 72 hours ago.  At 48 hours I had the worst withdrawal symptoms I have ever had in my life.  So, 3 weeks heavily medicated.  How much longer would you guys guess this will continue.  Surely the duration will be shorter than long term use?  Any advice welcomed.  Full blown withdrawal going on.  Sweat, chills, leg pain.

Right....3rd day clean today.  I've had NO chills this morning which is great.  I thought I was going to die last night though.  I'm pretty fit and low body fat and I know that help.  I'm not eating at all.  I'll have to force myself to go for a walk today.

I just want to make sure I follow, you're on the third day clean at this point?  Since the duration was much shorter this time the withdrawals shouldn't last that long.  I would think the worst of it should pass today.  Everyone is different obviously but the worst of it should end today.  Come here and talk, take your focus off the WD's, maybe even try to go for a walk.  Exercise is great for dealing with the detox.
