hi there....christos said it all...so worth the fight to have your life back to NORMAL...nothing feels so good as that...keep fighting...maria
congrats on making it this far, you should be incredibly proud of yourself, and luckily youre at the tale end of the withdrawals. For percocets(oxycodone), the withdrawals peak at the fourth day and diminish slowly over the next four days. You are looking at 7 to 8 days total, but after the fifth day they lighten up every minute and by the 7th day theya re almost unnoticeable. You wills till have mental cravings and anxiety for a few weeks, letting up also as time progresses, but the worst wds-the physical side of it only last a maximum of a week. You have gone through the climax and the peak of the wds. And for that you should be incredibly proud. Stick with it, your almost there. You only have a few days left and each day will be easier and easier, getting to a point where its just an annoying thing bothering you. That at least better than during the first 72 hrs. where you cant sit still, your sweating, but freezing, hot/cold, goosebump flesh, your body aches all over, restlessness, extreme anxiety, irritable, and the list goes on, but youve done. CONGRATS again, youve accomplished one of the hardest things anyone person can ever do...I recommend meetings after your through with the physical wds, cuz theyre will still be the mental aspect of the addiction and wds, so going to group meetings or NA meetings really help you stay strong each day and surround yourself with ppl who can truly relate and help you stay positive. Along with this forum as well, this place is like family, it can help you for whatever may arise. Best of luck to you, you cant imagine how amazing life is once you get out of the hazy opiate addiction, trust me, its unreal and awesome-Christos
