Please help

My son needs to find legal suboxone asap or he is afraid he will lose his job. We have some insurance but don't want to be ripped off. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Usually your local health and human services or county clinics will have a program that's very easy and accommodating to get started on an put patient basis.

I just wanted to thank everyone that responded. My son did make it to the clinic and is now on Suboxone. This is day two - I understand this is a baby step and one of many, and that we will never be completelt out of the woods. One day at a time. God bless you all and please continue to supprt one another and woried moms.

Thank you for your caring response. He won't check in anywhere because he is worried about losing his job and family finding out. He's staying with family and they don't know he's back on percs. If they find out, he will be thrown out. I sent him money to get him through the weekend. I pray I did the right thing. His last pill was today, thanks to an enabling mom (me).

And if he keeps saying he is suicidal but won't goto the hospital I know it may be hard because your are his mom but call the law in his town and tell them and they will do a welfare check and take him to a hospital if he really is suicidal.

I agree here if he is seriously suicidal he needs to goto the er ASAP. Like nurse girl said u will not find a suboxone doc over the weekend and on top of that finding one that will let insurance pay for the first visit is also hard because alot of doctors that prescribe suboxone say they want the money from you or in this case your some as kinda a promise to really try and get clean and not just as a fix for a week or two

I'm sorry to hear that your son isn't doing well.

You're not going to find a clinic that will start him on Suboxone over the weekend.  If he is suicidal, he needs to seek help immediately.  Please tell him to go to the ER ASAP and get some help.

Has he looked into any inpatient programs?  That may be the way to go, and he may be able to get in one sooner than Monday.  When was his last pill?

He was on percs for several years, then clean for two with the help of very small doses (1/8th of a pill) of illegal suboxone. He has been back on percs for about two weeks....high doses. We're out of money so he is withdrawing. I found a clinic in SC, but they won't take him until Monday. I'm worried he won't make it through the weekend.

We are almost out of money. I am in NJ....he is in SC. The clinic doesn't take my insurance. He is withdrawing and suicidal.

Get him into a treatment program that would be the best thing for you to do.

The alternative is to find a physician who enter him into a program that will end his addiction. There is no reason not to do so. Yes, it will be difficult and uncomfortable, however it will be in his best lifetime interests.

What do you mean by legal Suboxone?  Suboxone prescribed by a doctor?

Do your research locally for a Suboxone doctor. Try going via the Internet. Or try the website at www.suboxone.com and do a search for doctors in your area.
