Question about Clonadine

I have been taking clonadine to help with my w/d from hydrocodone, I am taking 0.2 mg at bedtime.  Has anyone experience extreme fatique and bad taste in your mouth when taking this?

Yup...it definitely gave me dry mouth and a bad taste....and it can make you tired. It lowers your blood pressure. If you have low blood pressure already and are taking it that might cause it. At the same time, fatigue is a huge part of withdrawal. Its usually the symptom that lasts the longest. Could be that too.

it gave me dry mouth and fatigue/sleepiness which was really wanted because of the insomnia i was having during wd's...it really does help a ton with the sweats,chill, and blood pressure spikes..i think it one of the most needed drugs during the detox period of wd....i never had the bad taste in my mouth though..i got that from lunesta taht is the most rancid i would ever get ever..a metallic hell in my mouth..best of luck to you-christos

Yes, Lunesta is terrible for taste..what I did with clonidine was keep a bag of hard candies around and suck on them when needed..helped a great deal with the dry mouth/bad taste...and they definitely will make you sleepy...I fell asleep on a concall for work one time..fortunately I was at home and on mute and all I had to do was listen.
