Question about Ultram

Someone I know is currently taking 8 5mg of oxycodone per day for 2 herniated discs.  also on 1 Xanax ER per day.
She is going to run out 8 days before next refill of oxy which usually happens about 3 days before next refill. The worst part of the withdrawl is insomnia.
She just got 13 200mg Ultram ERs and wants to know if the Ultram will help with the insomnia.

Hi There, This forum is for recovering addicts. Is your friend wanting to stop using? Now wouldbe a good time since she is 8 days short. She will have been fully detoxed by the time its time for a refill. Have your friend jump on this site. Good Luck

Until you stop everything you will not understand the full effects of the w/d's. The ultram is bad just like the oxy.  She may want to try and go CT ( cold turkey) off of everything before she gets in too deep with the pills ie:  ( the devil ). The fact is that most of us here are chronic pain sufferers. We have no reason to lie about how bad addiction is.  

Read the posts here to see the pain, suffering and trials of the afflicted. Then have a come to Jesus with your friend. The fact is pills are not a long term soultion. They only lead to all kinds of emotional, physical and spiritual problems.
