Question is tylenol with codine a narcodic

I have 3 slipped discs in my back and have 13 days clean but the pain in my legs is realy bothering me would it be ok to take tylonal with codine. please advise

I agree with refusingbondage and cathy, however, there are times when we do need pain medication.  My suggestion is that if Ibuprofen works, use it, or even Naproxin.  If you must use the Tylenol with Codeine, than ask someone to monitor your dosages and hold the pills for you.  I've had to do that with darvocet and it really helps to keep from becoming addicted to another narcotic.

refusingbondage is right.  it will wake up the opiate receptors and at the least set off the cravings and the mental addiction.  so be very careful....try to use ibuprofen 800 or something like that.

I can say for sure that yes tylenol with codeine is a narcotic.  Whether its ok to take for legit pain is a matter of opinion.  I took it for bronchitis and it lead to a relapse.. so if you are going to take it - be careful and keep it in check.
