Question

I wrote in this forum about a week ago.  I do have a long history of narcotic abuse.  When I was using two years ago I went to a Sub Dr.  He put me on it and it worked for awhile.  Last June I feel and broke my hip and went off the Sub.  My PCP had been prescribing me pain meds for the pain ever since.  I was on Fentynal (sp), Methadone, and vicodins ES towards the end..   On 3/8/10 I went to my PCP and told him I didnt want anymore pain meds.  I wanted off them all.  He agreed and gave me clonidine and xanax for the withdrawal.  Out of my fear of the withdrawal I also made an appointment with the Sub Dr. that same day.  He prescribed me Sub for six weeks only.  So, heres the thing guys...  I have been off all pain meds since 3/8/10, and I quite the Sub after only  6 days of being on it. 3/13/10 was my first day off the Sub.  I have been enduring the anxiety, that knawing in the pit of my stomach feeling, restlessness, and fatigue, but I feel that my sleeping pills(Ambien and the zanax 30 pills only) is contributing to this.  Im not sure. Im constipated as well, which makes me feel sick at times.  In the past when Ive come off narcs, its never took this long to feel better.  I know its only been 10 days of narcs and 5 days off the Sub, but what do you think.  Give time, time?  Thanks
