Quick question

I have been getting strong cravings for Percocet lately, but I have some suboxone in the drawer. I am feeling a tad fatigued due to recreational use of pain killers from the weekend. I really don't want to have these cravings and a friend has suggested just taking .5 MG of suboxone. This I know would aleviate the cravings and also get rid of the fatigue.

My question is:
If I took a total of .5MG of suboxone last Monday and then Tuesday and did pain killers over that weekend, then did .5MG of suboxon Monday and none Tuesday (Making 48 hrs not on suboxone this week)... can I get addicted to the suboxone by just taking a piece today? Because I don't think I am currently, I just want help with the cravings. I really don't want to go buy any. Should I take a piece? Will I feel W/D?

Just to let you guys know. I have not taken anything since the weekend after I spoke to you all. I am done. I do not want to get back on the addiction wagon. I am really fatigued today, but feel no W/D pain (my knees usually hurt me and I get heart burn). Luckily, because I wasn't taking suboxone everyday and I didn't take that much when I did, I do not think I am going to face W/D from it, but rather a little W/D from the opiats I took before it. Should be pretty easy to get through. But I am sooo tired. I did go to sleep late last night, but do you guys have any tips to shake the dosing off!?

I agree just stop.  Most people start as a weekend high and it leads to a long dark road..the high isn't worth the low..stop now your far more ahead of most people and never take anyone elses meds not good and illegal (not to scare you but true)
God Bless :) good for you for wanting to be clean and putting a stop to self destructive addiction, WTG!

I really agree and underline everything sarah said above. Please stop! You are making things dangerously worse! You are creating the cravings by the way you are using your drugs and have gotten caught in an endless cycle of drug abuse. Sort of like drinking grain alcohol to get over a weekend hangover from gin. Does this really make sense to you.

Of course you are craving. That is what drug addiction is. Is this something that you want to continue? I promise it will only get worse. Please listen to us we know what we are talking about. The sub makes no sense at all.

If you want to stop using. Let us know! We can help and give you suggestions. Your life is important; you need to value and protect it.

I do understand what you are talking about.  Here is what i am talking about.  Sub is very strong opiate.  It is very addicting.  With the quantity you take sub shouldnt even be in your possession and it surely shouldnt be used for a semi hangover.  It should also be used ONLY under a doctors supervision.  You are going to feel more than a semi hangover if you keep taking sub.  We all understand cravings and they do suk.  There are other ways to handle these than taking another highly addictive opiate.

Dangerous game? You are scaring me now. Can you elaborate?

You are right, I am on a roller coaster. I am so scared of going throught he W/D I beat cold turkey a year ago but it is so easy for me to get pain killers and get that feeling. Although, when I do get "high" on the weekend, I only take about 6-8 over a three day period. But the bad part is I am using Suboxone to get rid of the semi hangover (if should call it that). I just know if I don't use that, I'd go get pain killers and I do not want to take them everyday again. Because it will REALLY be tough to shake the W/D...

I am trying not to do percocet, not even on the weekend. So I want to try to alleviate this week so I can work and then not take anything this weekend. I just don't want to substitute my problem for another and then get addicted to both.

Arghh.. I'm sorry, it is hard to explain what I mean. Hopefully someone can relate or understand and let me know what I should do.

I have read your posts and i have to tell you i think you are playing a very dangerous game here.  You take the percocets for recreation on the weekends and then use the sub to feel better.  Are you getting these from a doctor?  There are other ways to handle the cravings instead of putting opiates in your system.  We mention aftercare here alot.  I would really recommend this for you.  You can get off of this roller coaster ride you are on.....We are here to help and support you..........sara
