Relapse

Well i had a relapse... ***** but it happened.. I stayed clean for about 2-3 months after a 8-9 month addiction taking 8-10 lortab 10's a day. I hurt my arm and have been taking 2 tabs a day sometimes 3 for about 2 weeks now. I flushed what i had down the toilet. Ill deal with pain because i dont want to be on them again. Can i expect to go through withdrawals again since ive been on 1-3 a day for 2 weeks? Thank you all for the support.

hi,... you will not go through full wds after 2 weeks... Take care of you now, relax yourself to deal with the anxiety, you will experience mild symptoms but they will be manageable, i would think... and never let your guard down !

It happens. You know yourself and where you were heading again. Congratulations for nipping it in the bud bf it got out of hand. Our addiction is always waiting to slay us at the slightest opening so stay safe this time. Continue to work on your recovery as if your life depends on it.

I know I can't possibly control the use of drugs or alcohol bc I'm a addict. So I go to aftercare. Each day my addiction makes withdrawals, so I go to work on my recovery and make a deposit.

I wish you a speedy WD. Stay on here and keep posting and communicating in an atmosphere of recovery. You're going to be okay. :-)

Personally i don't think you relapsed if you used ut for genuine pain n did not abuse it. Well done on throwing them away. I can't really advise you as I'm struggling myself but just want to offer you my support n a bit of encouragement xxx
