codiene addiction

hi there
i am a 29 year old mother of five beautiful children. i have been addicted to analgesic calmatioves which are basically codiene and a truck load of paracetamol i take up to 40 a day and can have no less than ten at a time for them to do anything.
i have been doing this for three years straight now and i am finding that obviously they are hurting me but lately i will have noghts where i will take too much and vommit all night i have tried and tried to get off them and have suceeded for a week or so then i always go back again.
i am currently looking into a naltrexone implant or  drip/infusion called 'Flumazenol' has anyone else had any luck with any of these or any side effects i should know of
thanks sam

Hi there and welcome! I don't personally have experience with the meds you're talking about but I'm sure someone who does will be along shortly. May I ask how this started? Were you injured or something or was it recreational use?

hi sam, i just wanted to welcome you, you have come to the right place, i am sure you will get some folks with experience of the implants your asking about,
you certainly need to come off these meds, the damage you are doing to your stomache, liver and kidneys with the paracetomol is very dangerous. that is why you are vomiting, have you seen a dr.? i am sure you will get help there, its the codeine your addicted to, and you can get off these meds, have you tried to,? i wish you well, keep posting,
