Rocket shots and red bulls help me now...my friends the bull and rocket
I'm at 3 weeks and am still having some energy issues. Working out helps, and I have this supplement I used to take for weightlifting called NO-Explode. That will give you energy, but only drink it if you plan on doing any sort of resistance training. I can't get over the cravings, though. I have dreams about having a full bottle of pills every night, then wake with a major craving, then realize there are none to take. Then I crave them all day. I wish I knew when that will stop!!!!!
I felt great like on day 7 til day 14 or something...then got the flu...started having bad energy days....now at 6 weeks I have maybe 2-3 low energy days a week...exercis helps them alot...the amino fuel has helped too...tastes like **** tho...it gets better..I dont want to start bragging as i know i could have a low day tomorrow but i feel great today...like it cycles good days and bad days...less and less of bad days for me as time goes on
Shotrock, the lethargy has been the biggest hurdle for me as well. Seems like when I was taking my pills I was unstoppable...overachiever @ work, spotless house etc. etc. Now...even changing the roll of TP makes me feel overwhelmed & want to cry...haha. Forcing myself to get up & exercise in the am is the only thing thats helped a bit...other than that...I'm all ears as well on when I'll feel a little less zombie-esque?!
5 HPT will help with mood ,i found the two L'tyrosine ,5 hpt ....worked the best together for mood and energy ....but you cant take them if you are on a SSRI or tricyclic antidepressant .
Well, you do get a huge dump of dopamine at one point during detox, but it doesn't last long. And it is usually after the worse of w.d symptoms, most think this is the end and that they are going to be normal again, but it mostly always shifts back. It does take a while before natural energy is restored. But it all depends on how long you have been addicted and how high your dose was. For me, I have been addicted to Oxy's for 4 years and the first time I detoxed, I was clean for 3 months and my energy was just starting to come back at the 3 month mark, but I was still really tired and weak, but it got better each day. I am sure it will continue to get better and better for you. And again, everyone is different, for some, they start to feel spurts of energy within weeks. Good Luck.

If you are not on any anti depressant then get
Ltryrosine get the 500 mg pills start with two first thing in the am then try 2 more at 11 AM
5hpt first thing in the am
multi vitamin and calcium magnesium after dinner
If you have any sleeping issues something like sublingual melatonin works good.right before bed .
Be active every day ........ sounds like you are already doin that ....EAT HEALTHY!!!
I guess I've done a poor job of using supplements, I'll go to GNC today tell me what I should get?
hummmm I worked out every day ,I took L'tyrosine and 5 hpt long with a multi vitamin and a calcium magnesium supplement .My energy was back at 14 days . By 30 days I was feeling the best I had ever felt in my life ,better days are coming .
My DOC was xanax and I was told once that for every month I took it I should takea week out of it and then add up all my weeks and that was how long it would take me to feel completely normal !! well I did half the math because I'm rubbish... I just figured it was a long time !! anyway it's not true, I don't think or at least I hope not !! I got my energy back on the third week but to be honest my brain still shuts itself down for a day every now and again and I can't function, work etc....oh I don't know my DOC was xanax so I have no clue !!
Anyway you don't want to relapse do you now? I mean what would be the point in that, you'd just have togo through all the rubbish again eh?? no point at all !!
Well my advice to you was as useful as a chocolate umbrella !! just ignore it !!
much love to you.... marbles (Duck Lips ! )
dang that would help my energy too...i would find plenty entergy to run inside to the heater. the sun is shining beautifully here and it is 70...sorry
Thanks as always hearing from somebody helps. Thanks for the lie Cathy the laugh did me good. I keep telling myself at-least I'm not sick. I made it to work, and was out working in the Cold( 10 degrees here ) seemed to help my energy?

Enjoy the good days...I have 8 weeks...yesterday i felt great and cleaned the bathroom top to bottom...about 1/2 hr. after that I felt like I got run over by a truck.
.I thought WTF?!?!?
hey, for some it may be 6 months, but everyone is different. i have over 100 days and my energy is great. it cam back at about 65 days full strengrh. before that it was sporadic...now for the lie!!!! it will be back tomorrow and you will be goin full steam ahead...lol it gets better hang on
cathy
Don't worry it won't be 6 months. You're doing all the right things. especially being active. Just keep doing what you're going and take your vitamisn and amino acids and you'll be back to yourself soon. I know at 60 days I'm almost myself. But I'm also stressing about a wedding and being kind of lazy, lately! So stay strong, you're doing great!!!

I have the same problem with the lack of energy. I don't usually drink coffee because it makes me really hyper, so I will have a little bit of coffee to get me going and that seems to work. Hope that help you. Please don't relapse, I did and the withdrawals were worse this time around.
