Needing insight again!

As many of you know my daughter is an opiate addict. Her DOC is perks and oxy. She is shooting up. She has dabbled into a lot of other things, opana, heroin,... Now she is doing fentnal. Then she slipped up and mentioned crack!!! She said she just smokes it once in awhile. What my question is what is worse opiates or crack. Is she hitting the top of addiction??? I am just at a loss and need some insight or advice! Please!!

She isnt ready to stop my friend.  Your last comment said it all.  She claims she can control it.  Every last one of us thought we could too.  We could control our active using about as much as we could control the weather.  Once we cross that line the word control doesnt exist anymore.  I hope and pray she realizes real soon there is a way out of this and that there is a life out here without drugs.

As for you, i hope you are still taking care of yourself as she is spiraling downward and her drugs are getting stronger.  You have to stay healthy thru this when the time does come for her to get clean.  Hugs to you Tee~~~sara

Thanks Sara yea I am handling this as best I can, its hard to see her destroying herself like she is but I know it is in Gods hands now. I just pray she realizes soon before the worse case happens. I am going to get myself on some antianxiety meds. (Buspar) cause I am a wire pulled to its max. But other than that I am ok. Thanks or your help and words of encouragement.it really helps. God bless!

She is spiraling for sure. We have had several deaths where I live from fentenal. So I know it is very dangerous. I am at a loss with all this all I ever did was smoked weed and that was many years ago. Now she is dabbling in crack which to my understanding is very addictive.. Wow all I can say is God help her, she claims she can keep it all under control but she is spiraling for sure.

Hey I'm no expert on crack, but I am on perks and oxy. I know of a boy in my hometown who died from doing fentnal and its becoming real common. You have to eat it, shoot it and I've heard smoke it. The guy I knew ate it. A friend of his stole the patch from my 70 year old mother who has severe ostioproses (spelling?) He cut it open and drank all the stuff inside and in a few minutes he was gone!!! I gotta tell you, Im 48. When I was coming up the worst thing you could do was herion or coke (my choice). The occationnal quadludes, valium, xanax, speed, LSD for a fun night and your everyday pot. The drugs are getting worse and they are getting scarry considering that there is such an easy acess for percription drugs. The crack smoking was around, but rarely. And only within 1 community. The one your parents tell they will kill you if your ever caught there!! I've dealt with a brother who died in a car wreak riding with a friend going to the crack house. And several friends who have died do to drugs and using. Keep your head, your eyes to God and keep her in your prayers cause thats the only way of her getting away from her addictions and playgrounds. Hope I helped!!!
