Hi there.
I just wanted to welcome you back. I know it's hard to come back after a relapse but most of us have experienced it so I am sure we can all help you through.
How are you feeling? Please keep posting and let us know.
So sorry to hear of your relapse. I browsed through your prior posts to refresh my memory on your story, and I found a post on the "Gratitude" thread that I think will be helpful for you to read. These are your OWN words....
"I am grateful for finding this site and to all of you that helped me through those first couple of rough weeks (you know who you are) I'm grateful that I'm not counting those nasty pills everyday worrying about running out. I'm grateful for my family being supportive for me and grateful that I wake up each day living and breathing."
You CAN get back to that place again. What is your plan? What led you to relapse? If a person doesn't closely examine all of the circumstances behind their relapse, and identify which of those 3 S's were compromised, they won't likely learn what they need to fix.
Hang in there...and best of luck!
Hi there and welcome back! I'm glad to see you posting again and very happy that you haven't given up on trying to quit. You have been in this situation before and know the drill as far as withdrawals. What are your plans for after care? What are you planning to do differently this time to ensure success?
What are your plans after you get thru the detox??
I know how you feel about relapsing. I was clean for 3 years and relapsed for a year from 7-12 lortab to 2-4 oxy. Went thru the whole shabang all over again. You just gotta go thru it and get a support system. Go to meetings, now I say that but I have not been to a meeting yenta use I am so scared someone might know me. My husband is the only person that knows everything about me. This website has really helped me big time. The support and words of encouragement really he'll me get thru my day. Sometimes there are nurses on this that can help with advice on what to do. Ask questions and good luck. You will and can do this, if I can again so can you. I am not a. Strong person but it's nice to know you have an army of support behind you here on this site
