Hey everyone

I know this is probably a stupid question...since I know it is one of the problems with tapering and withdraw.

Any suggestions for my son who cant fall asleep...everynight is the same..
I've heard hot showers.... and we have melatonin ... is there anything else he can do or try?

Then use something else like ripped sheets & safety pin.

You should have seen me on my 7th & 8th day.  I looked like the invisible man from the movie many years ago.   My whole body was wrapped almost!  The menthol was a good accident.  I thought I was buying a heat rub and it was a cool one instead.  But I like icy hot too.

I hope this will relieve him tonight.

Achy legs are not the same as restless legs.

For the leg aches, get some cool menthol salve and rub on paper towels and drape around legs, then take ace bandages and wrap around legs, but not tight.

Restless legs are exactly as it sounds.  You just want to KICK the bed!

Thanks for the advice. I have no electric blanket :(
The melatonin worked one time for him, but did not seem to work again.
I told him about the soap under the sheets.... lol
wonder if it works for achy legs or just RLS.... or is that the same?

Prescription sleep medication, over the counter sleep aids, a warm electric blanket on the sofa w/a good movie.

Melatonin does absolutely nothing for me.  Many swear it's like valium for them.
