So frustrated with my situation!

As many of you already know, I've been having problems with my cleft palate and have been waiting to hear from the dentist for an appt to get a new obturator made. I finally called them yesterday morning and told them I couldn't keep waiting. That I'm having more n more blood coming from my nose and the pain is becoming unbearable. I can't take more than two of the Tylenol 3's a day because they make me sooo nauseous and give me a headache from he//. Once I told them I would need to get my records transferred if I couldn't get in soon, tey were ready to call whoever they had to! So now my appt is next Thursday which is good but suks at the same time because that seems like eons when it hurts this bad :( I asked if there is ANYTHING they could do for me until the new one comes in and they said if I'm having that much of a problem to call the oral surgeon again. Go figure....I feel like a damn ping pong ball...back n forth...back n forth. Makes me wonder if they've looked at my prescription history and seen I was on methadone last year and they just think I'm drug seeking? Just doesn't seem fair that the one time in my life that I've had this much pain with the hole in the roof of my mouth and the sinus problems its creating, that I'm being strung along and treated this way :( I'm just ready to give up I think.

Sorry for the venting. Just needed to get that off my chest.

I do know that all the pham have it on a computer and the dr and dentist can see, but I think that he did not even go there with you. I think he wanted not to deal with you because he wants you to see the oral dentist. He was maybe ha! tooo busy..And if they are going to give you something they want to see you. Heck he wouldn't even see you today..So calm down I think it is alright....Did you call for the antibiotic???? hang in and tie your boost straps and march into that other dentist in the morning..
God Bless lol

I don't either? I was u fed the assumption that they could see all your past prescriptions. I haven't had a methadone prescription since November 13 and Percocet sometime in December.

It's hard saying.  I would be wondering the same thing.  Does your Dentist and Dr share the same medical records?   I don't know if Dentist and Dr's share the same pharmaceutical records or not?    Good question!

Just out of curiosity...do any of y'all think that the dentist has looked at my prescription history and that is why he's blowing me off when I talk about the pain and how uncomfortable it is? After already being judged by my doctor for being on methadone, (which was prescribed) I can't help but feel like this could be what's going on?
