So grateful

I'm so grateful you'll are here. It's been a hard day. I felt so bad all day. I would give anything right now just for a nights sleep. I'd been on sleep medicine since 2003. So that part is extra hard for me but just 1 more crutch I'm so happy to give up. Believe I don't want to take anything it's just been such a long day. Got up at 3:30. But it's day 15 almost day 16. I wish my husband would quit saying I could will myself to feel better. My lying on the couch taking drugs didn't bother him at all. But sobriety, not clean time healthy sobriety scares him. He's an alcoholic & he's scared I'm going to get healthy & tired of his "stuff".
Thanks for letting me vent. You'll reminding me I'm right where I'm supposed to be is such a gift. I don't have words enough to express my gratitude. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Don't worry about what your hubby is saying right now.  The only person you need to be concerned with at this point is yourself!  You do the things you know will work for you.  I bet he is scared at this point...but that is his problem not yours.  Once you are clean and sober and are in aftercare....well that is when you can start thinking about your marriage and your hubby....but not until then.  Why muddy the waters before you are ready???

My prayers are with you!

Yeah this afternoon I took an Epsom salt bath with Bob Marley. It made everything better for 20 minutes for sure.
Thanks for reminding me.

Hey there. Congrats on 16 (close enough!) days. That's fantastic. I'm sorry you had a rough day. Just try to relax. Maybe put on some calming tunes, take a nice hot bath, and let it all go. Tomorrow is a new, and hopefully better day. Keep up the fight, take care of yourself, and try to keep your head up. You're doing great!  :)
