tramadol withdrawal symptom question

been off since the 17th and my shoulders are hurting something fierce.  it's like they are on fire hurting.  stiff neck and all.  was taking the tram for degenerative disk disease in the neck so i was wondering, is this a symptom of w/d?  or is this the pain that i am to endure after being clean?  this *****.

oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer.  skelaxin.  this shouldn't be a problem right?  found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.

I'm not sure if its normal for everybody, but I did have a lot of pain and tightness through my neck and shoulders while I was detoxing. The skelaxin is a very mild muscle relaxer and non-narcotic (I'm pretty sure), so shouldn't be a problem. May even help. Having DDD in the neck is going to leave you with some pain that may be exagerated in the first few weeks. give it just a little time to level out before you try to judge what your "normal" pain will be. Try some ben-gay as well, it helped for me, and the awful stink of it seemed to help with the drippy nose! :) Hang in there, you're doing great!
