were no dr, but if your brain was bleeding from abuse, there would be signs, i know i cant remember things two day from using, friend said i came by, acted normal but i dont remember going by, i know im suffering memory loss.. we do know that snorting them affter the rush the pill binders and trash drain down your throat, weve done those sinus flushes expecting rainbows of colors to drain from our sinuses but to our surprise they were clean, hard to believe after years of abuse. this is just our opinion ask your friend if he can taste r smell.. we are all in the same boat and are here to help

I imagine it can burn thru the membranes of the nose causing a whole bunch of problems..Best advice? Stop doing it..

thank u so much for all yr help, he was snorting up to 20 10mg tabs of oxycindones a day if not more he thought it would break thru to yr brain like coke and ice cuz of all the cut in it, so it does not break thru to yr brain? if used alot, like coke and x? ive seen pics of peoples brain from snorting X there were holes in it, he thought that happened to him, i am an x user too i used to do 30 to 50 vics a day and went to rehab and got clean, im so glad u guys are clean its very tuff to get off those dang things i know first hand, good for u i used to feel the same way couldnt feel normal without them, i dont understand why they dont come up with something that can help thats not addictive, sometimes i think they do that on purpose, im going to get him on here u guys have been great ill be praying for u all God bless u too!!

hello, were a couple who were snorting up to 10 10/325mg percs a day, the lil pink devils, but we would snort anything we got sometimes the big ones that contain alot of tyelonel, like 10/500mg ..it didnt matter,.. abusing drugs is abusing drugs, snorting them dosent break your brain, just gives a faster rush than eating them, but u crash harder and have to snort them more often than eating them, after years of snorting, we got to the point were we had a crusher and straw on the headboard of the bed so when we awoke we would lay there and do at least two each just to get out of bed, we no longer got high,we did them just to function. we went thru a 3 month fog where they were handed to us and bought mass quanties from thanksgiving thru january we can count over 1000 pills we snorted. we are on day 22 being opiate free, and still have no smell or taste, weve been told it takes time to get it back, we hope it comes back and we havent done any permanent damage.. withdrawls are a mo fo and ours lasted 5 days of h**L.. we tapered off, our last day we only did one each.. good luck to your friends i hope they read this,they are not alone, god bless :)

Bear with me, I still don't get it. Do you mean like travel from the nostril directly through to the brain through an artery or something? That is seriously where I am lost but that's okay.

It does effect the brain in that it effects the chemistry. That can be repaired with abstinence. I would be a bit concerned about the behavior associated with the abuse. I can guess with a fair amount of confidence that it does not say "Snort every 4 hours if needed for pain" on the label of the pill bottle. So the fact that your friend is abusing the pills and looking for that quick fix is of some concern.

You are a good friend for trying to help. It would be best if you would come on and open his own account. this is a great place for support and we can help him in his efforts to get and stay clean.

hey said they were snorting oxycodones and than felt like something in there brain broke they have been feeling weird and there face goes numb sometimes, they wont go to the doctors, yes they know they have a problem they stopped snorting them  and now they r trying to quit slowly some say it can go to yr brain and kill u others they it cant i wanted to show him these posts and maybe get him, to join thanks so much for helping me i am new to this, this is a great site !!
