Subutex Withdrawals - How long will this last?
This is my fourth day off subutex after snorting about a half a pill throughout the course of the day. It's getting better, but not much. Just wondering how long this will last? I WANT this SO bad, but I kind of want to have a time frame to look at and say, "Okay, by this day, I'll feel fine."
If anyone could help, or tell me how to get rid of this uncomfortability and restless leg syndrome, that would be wonderful.

I have been told about 2 weeks. Though I haven't went through it yet. I was on .5mg and now I'm down to .37mg then to .25mg and then I will start skipping days and jump. Just giving you some info on how I'm doing it.
So since your going cold turkey I would give it a few weeks. Check into the Thomas recipe. Or you can try to taper but I wouldn't continue to snort it. I hope this helps some.

I have been on it for about two years.. And that's the thing, I don't know how much I have been taking, since I've been snorting it since I started. I've never had a prescription, I've always bought it on the streets. I usually do one half of a pill a day, not all at once, usually spread out over the day.
Hope asks some great questions. We would be better equipped to give you recommendations is you can give us a bit more info.
The very FIRST thing you need to change for sure is the snorting. For one, it's only reinforcing that addict behavior. If you continue to snort your pills, you aren't working on changing those behaviors. General;y speaking, you will be at greater risk for relapse once you're off the suboxone, and if you haven't managed to work on that aspect of your addiction, it's going to make you even more vulnerable.
Also, snorting is a much less effective way to take Suboxone. If you take it sublingually, as it is intended, it will be absorbed more efficiently. You actually are getting LESS of the effects by snorting.
