My feet are also cold as ice all day.
Thank you! It's driving me nuts! I honestly think waking up drenched puts me in the mind set that today will be no better then yesterday. I am taking potassium but I don't know how much is too much. I only get a minimal amount of rls right before I fall asleep but I'm a foot tapper anyways and once I start tapping my foot I fall asleep quickly well with the melatonin of course. I ate yesterday and regretted it about 20 minutes later. I really think now it's all in my head like I am just waiting for the morning that I wake up normal and not freezing, sticky and stuck to my bed. I remember the night sweats back in feb but I can't remember how long they lasted.
I am not sure of the answer, so probably shouldn't post, but just wanted to say that I live in such a hot and humid climate, I am sweating all the time anyway....every time I go outside for a few minutes. So, I probably didn't notice the sweats very much. Stay hydrated and make sure you are getting adequate potassium. Think of it as toxins leaving your body. If you are just having like hot and cold flashes....no, that shouldn't last for a month. After about a week, all the physical symptoms should be gone. You may feel drained and not have much energy but you will be more clear headed and the worst of the physical withdrawal will be behind you. Stay with it....it will get better.
I had sweats for about a week, the worst days were 3 and 4. For me, it really helped to take a bath when I had sweats. Even when I couldn't sleep. Just put on some good music and sink deep into a warm bath. You're doing great!
All I can find when looking online is heroin night sweats that last for a month! I don't think my dose I was taking should put me anywhere close to heroin withdrawal timelines right?
