TRAMADOL WITHDRAWLS HELP PLEASE

I STARTED TAKING 200 MG OF TRAMADOL A DAY ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF AGO. I HAVE STOPPED TAKING THEM FOR ABOUT FIVE DAYS NOW AND ITS COMPLETE HELL! WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP WHAT CAN I DO? MY LEFT ARM IS RESTLESS AND I CAN'T SLEEP. I WENT TO THE DOCTOR LAST NIGHT AND FOUND OUT I HAVE A PINCHED NERVE IN MY NECK AND THEY GAVE ME TWO MORE TYPES OF PAIN MEDICINE BUT I'M NOT TAKING ANY OF THEM I AM SCARED TO TAKE ONE OF THOSE AND IT MESS UP ME GOING COLD TURKEY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

thank you guys i feel like i am going crazy i can't sleep my arms are restless and i haven't taken any of the pain meds that i have for my pinched nerve in my neck the pain ***** but the insomia is much worse and i def don't like this feeling at all. Tonight doesn't seem as bad as it has been but i still can't fall asleep. My husband is very supportive he threw away every type of pain pills we had just so i wouldn't slip up and want to take anything. which honestly makes me feel alot better knowing that there is nothing i can take.

you are almost over the hump DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING ELSE right now your body want its fixs so its going to make any pain you have far worse . .exercise any thing you can do will help.Healthy eating .Vitamins help as well. good luck it will get better soon I have been off it over three years so you can do it .

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this.  I know how difficult withdrawal from tramadol is, I've been off this horrible drug for over 150 days now and quitting was the best decision I've made in a very long time (maybe ever?)

You can do this - just take a deep breath and check out emilys posts on tramadol withdrawal.  If you google "tramadol withdrawal" one of your choices will be something that reads like "day 45 again cold turkey tramadol withdrawal emilys posts".  This thread saved me!!!  It gave me all of the information I needed about the drug, what it had been doing to me, and how to get off.  And there's so much good information on there for just general reading.  Please take the time to find it.  You will find it to be a g-dsend right now.  And as long as you'll probably be up for the next few days, it also served as an amazing knowledge tool and a great distraction.  Emily takes you through her journey to get off and her words are so powerful.

Take the caps lock off please.  So you're on 4 5mg pills a day?  That's not that much and a month and a half is not that long.  Tram is nasty stuff but would think you'll be fine real soon.
