Hi guys looking for advice I have been addicted to codiene/paracetomol 12.8/500 for I year taking over 45 tablets a day after experiencing the worst feeling ever last Friday I decided to go gp and get help she has put me on 75mg codiene 5 times a day which is half of what I was taking I started this new regime yesterday but today am experiencing withdrawal symptoms does this last long with tapering TIA

Oh sorry didn't realise couldn't post taper info it's just I have come of this before and at the minute it feels like I'm in withdrawal haven't got the leg cramps yet just the achy bodie constant tiredness I'm confused I don't know if I'm better off going  ct :-(

You have to be consistent and slow is better.  It takes the body about 4 days or so to adjust to any change.  We can't post taper info, but I hope I have helped a little.

Hi , Don't know much about your drug , But tapering to 1/2 dose is way to much to fast , You are in unneeded W/D .
I tapered from 100mg Norco a day then quit . Now 28 days free of pills .
a good tapering plans works .

What kind of symptoms.....?  maybe I can help there,,,
