The Zombie Crew Has 4 Weeks Today!!!
Well, Back2Me has 4 weeks and 1 day. WODAGIRL and I have 4 weeks! Ahh, what a difference 4 weeks can make my friends! You guys have been amazing! Thank you for all of the support, encouragement, and laughs. The Zombie Crew Rocks!!
3 CELEBRATIONS AT ONCE....Oh gosh, I'm going to go get my party dress on! So very proud of you guys. So cool to have detox/recovery buddies to ride this road to freedom with. Thirty days is a big turning point in your journey. You now know you DID it and your brain is getting better every day. I'll be following all you guys........zombies no more. The mummie walks proud!
Yes, EvolverU is for sure an honorary member of the Zombie Crew. She stayed up with us those first few nights and held our hands through the acute wds. And she has been there every single day since offering encouragement, wisdom, and support. She is an amazing person.

I will NEVER forget you guys and hopefully we are ALL on here in ten years bragging about our continued success. I could not have quit with a better group of people, and the help provided by everyone was incredible. Evolver you are an honorary member of the crew IMO!
WOD should be chiming in soon I hope to see her in here to complete the zombie circle.
I have a big 30 day post coming tomorrow sometime to give everyone a detailed update. For those who know me and for those who might be thinking about quiting hopefully reading it will help someone. You are all hero's on here and I you all need to know that you are helping people, people like me. I had family members but I turned to the people who knew what I was going through on here the most. If you have ever asked yourselves I wonder how much diference I am making on here know this, YOU HAVE HELPED SAVE THIS PERSON. The Zombies and everyone who offered experience and support. You made a difference. I thank everyone, my wife thanks you all and if my 1 1/2 year old and my newly conceived baby (who is now the size of a blueberry so my wife tells me), they would thank you for helping keep their dad alive and well. My mother, older son, and friends would all tell all of you that YOU are the difference makers. You are an incredible group of people. For strangers like this to come together for people they don't even know like this and bear their souls and just unselfishly help others like this, to me their is no group of people better than that. I hope everyone knows how much of an impact they have made on me. Now I'm back to be my ornery self, still a lot of challenges ahead but I am facing them with the fearless mean determination that I used to have all the time. Just know that you are all important and special people, it takes people that have been there to help others in this situation IMO and I would not want to rap about my problems with any other kind of people :) Much love to my fellow zombies and EVERYONE on here struggling, thinking about quitting or with 20 years clean!
