Two weeks Today

Well, I'm on day 14 in my pursuit of life without pain pills. I think I'm past the physical withdraws but I have a long way to go with getting my mind right and trying to find motivation to make my lazy butt moving. I feel so drained and lethargic and while I do what I have to do I don't do anything else because I feel beat.
I found more lortabs last night looking for ibuprofen and I surprised myself because I had no desire to take one, I flushed them before that feeling changed.
I read a lot of the posts here and learn a bit more with each one, One thing I know is it's harder to stop the second time and I'm not going there.
Hope everyone has a good day today, I know I'm going to give it my best knowing I'm on my way to being free from this abuse of my loved ones and myself. Prayers for All.

Congrats on 17 days!! Have you tried l-tyrosine for some help with energy?  I am on day 7 without pills and I have found that it helps me through the day. I have actually gotten up the past 2 mornings and made it to the gym before work.  Hopefully you find some energy soon :)

First, congrats on 2 weeks -- also great job tossing the pills your found!!! Your resolve to lead a clean life sounds very strong so your are well on your way.. You WILL start seeing your energy and motivation return very soon but just give it some time.  You are doing great but I just wanted to ask if you are doing any aftercare (AA/NA)? The reason I ask is that aftercare is KEY and will give you the best opportunity to STAY clean... Again, congrats on your 2 weeks and I wish you all the best!!!!

Hi!!! Congrats on two weeks that's awesome and hard! I'm not too familiar with what you are detoxing from? But I do know it takes time for energy levels to even out! The best thing you can do is push/force yourself to do small things and conquer them one at a time. It will make you feel better if you accomplish it (that's why I say small task). Your doing great keep it up! The mental part is tough I'm going through it now but it comes in waves so there are good days and bad. But it's so much better then being numb and not feeling!
Keep posting MH is wonderful!!

How proud you should be of yourself for flushing your find...that takes strength. Woohoo for you!  Congrats to you on your 14 days...two weeks of your life back.  The energy will start to come back.  Are you taking vitamins/supplements?  I found that making protein shakes in the morning really helped as well as the EmergenC.  Keep moving - you are doing great!

Way to go  on TWO WEEKS!  You just passed your first test. To hold em in your hand and still make right decision is huge. The exhaustion and mental stuff seem to get better every day. Not saying its not there but less. You are doing great keep it up.
