Like others have said, try Vitamin E.

It could be worse. The main vein in my right arm is scoliosed, meaning it has so much scar tissue built up on it it's like trying to stick a nail in a garden hose.

A dentist was going to put me under to do some work and was almost leaning on the syringe and unable to get it in my vein. He asked me "You got any better ones on that other arm?" Talk about embarrassing...

The track marks have long since disappeared, so they will fade in time.

Congragulations on your 60 day mark. Wonderful to hear. I'm sure, over time, the external scars will heal.

My tracks have almost totally healed on the surface. I' ve noticed a dip in my arms that wasn't there before my last trip on the rail, if u will. My hubby only used one spot so his is still really noticable. We are looking into tasteful tatoos to cover. FYI vit E comes in a cream & an oil, in a bottle. No need to open capsules one by one. Curious to hear what works the best for u. Good luck & keep up the good work!!! The scars are gonna fade in time, just don't forget how far you've come! My 1st time around I scraped, not really cut a line over mine so it would look like a cut. Now I have a scar over it that won't go away. Being red-headed it's now turned silver. Don't know if any of this would do u any good, just thought I'd share my experiences. Stef

Well...my arms are completely covered in tattoos so my track marks are just faded ink. Yours will fade over time. Ive been working on other type scars myself lately and have found some success in a silicon patch. They sell them at most local stores like Target, etc. Maybe that would help. Best medicine will be time though.

Keep using the oils, creams, etc. But, I say unless you are at work (depending on your job), don't worry too much about covering them up. IMO they remind you right now of where you were and were you ARE NOT. If anybody else notices and knows what they are, they will also notice they have faded, they may lead to conversation and open up the door for you to share your experience. I think it is ok to be free and be who you are...you have earned the right.:)

Hi again. Search it and what I read is to use an exfoliating scrub. (Gentle one not a harsh one) everyday to help remove dead skin. Then use Vit E on it. Or neosporin until you get it on them. Will take time but if you do this every day it will help them heal better and faster. Have patience. They will fade.

Unfortunately that makes you heal harder and slower. Maybe try using Vit E on it (poke the capsule to squeeze it out). Or ask you doctor. He may have something that will help. An ointment or antibiotic.

Until then they will remind you of where you have been and don't want to go back too. 60 days is awesome!!!  This is your past. Give it time to heal as you do.

This is somewhat out of my realm, I was into pills, but I hear you. How about tatoos that sort of disguise things if the tracks dont go away? Others with more direct experience will be along to answer.
60 days! Congrats, good for you!!
