Tramadol (ultram) withdraw

Hello I'm new here I've been taking tramadol for 2 years for joint pain...I recently decided to go off it cold turkey I'm currently on day 4 of detoxing. .is there anything that will help with the symptoms?  Also yes the tramadol was dr prescribed

Ok, your symptoms are at the peak and its should be all downhill from here. For me it took about 1 full week to physically detox, but mentally and emotionally... well lets just say it took time and a lot of work.  For the pain I took Motrin and for the restless legs I took a warm bath with epsom salt which helped to relax.  The cravings will be tolerable but your body is now asking for tramadol and it will take time for the body to know that it doesnt need it.  Thats how it was for me.  My only suggestion is take it one day at a time or even one hour at a time, drink water and eat as tolerable, stay connected and get as much info on your road to recovery.  Its like chopping down a big tree, eventually the task will get done.  Good luck and God Bless.

Hi and welcome just keep checking your post people flow in and out. We have some here that came off of what you did. We also have alot of info on the vit/min and magnz ds cal for sleep plus alot more info to help you get threw the detox. You will get alot of GREAT information here from everyone who floats in and out. I have been clean since sept and seen alot of BLESSING on this post so hang in keep checking back. Check out som of the old posting regarding tramadol there are a lot....

Hello there, hats off to you for making the choice to quit.  You said your on day 4 cold turkey so your almost home free with the physical dt's.  What are your symptoms now?
