Tramadol

Is there anything I can take or do while I wean off tramadol?  My doctor has me taking 3 50mg pills for one week then 2 a day for a week and 1 a day for a week.  I've been taking tramadol for 2 years and scared of the withdrawls from it. I've tried doing it cold turkey and know the symptoms. Pleas help!!

IM ALSO TRYING TO COME OFF TRAMAMDOL BEEN TAKING IT FOR TWO YEARS ALOT! MORE THAN I SHOULD.ITS MY SECOND DAY NOW BUT I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO STOP..ANYWAY I HAD SOME OLD XANAX THAT I WASNT TAKING SO WHAT I DID WAS TAKE 1 TRAM WITH TWO .25 MG XANAX AND IBROPROPHEN FOR PAINTHREE TIMES A DAY. AND I DONT KNOW WHY BUT IT HAS BEEN WORKING WONDERS ON THE WITHDRAWL EFFECTS.I STILL FEEL PRETTY BAD,BUT THIS HELPS SOOOO MUCH.I WAS TAKING MORE THAN 20 A DAY BEFORE AND I HAVE ONLY TAKEN 6 IN THE LAST TWO DAYS.WISH ME LUCK!

You'll be fine! You have a really good tapering plan and a good doctor to work with. Don't listen to your fear. Keep posting on this site asking for help and support. Discuss your withdrawal symptoms here and you will get support.

Good work to want to stop! You are going to feel a lot better.
