Yep will set the appointments up tomorrow my doc referred me to surgeons. They are 50mg tramedol and it says 1-2 every 4-6 hours I took one and it doesn't have any effect like hydrocodone. If I only keep it to like 1 a day or everyother day will my mind and body still be addicted? It's really only nevisse I am truely in pain in my gallbladder and hernia. Well I will only take what I need when I'm in dying pain which is normally only at night so I really hope that my body doesn't become addicted since I don't plan on being on these for long at all. And they ate prescribed by my regular doctor not by prompt care so if I did have WDS she would be able to help since she prescribed them. Just ***** the situation I'm in:( I wanna cry.
Hi My mom recently had her gall bladder removed.Do you have surgery for that scheduled? Hers was really easy and they did it with a scope and only made two tiny incisions.
As for withdrawals 14 days away from hydro is good but it is nowhere near enough time for your brain to adjust back to pre pill condition. You will go through the same withdrawals if you keep taking these. It is that simple.
I hope you can see a doc pretty soon about this hernia and gall bladder pain.It sounds like surgery is in order for both conditions
Plus with having surgerys possible 2 very close to eachother I'm sure that they will prescribe me pain meds. Since itll be a while side I took hydrocodone will it start over or will the WDS start where I left off type. It's hard to explain what I'm asking but all I know is I'm in some serious pain from all this n it *****. I'm in a crappy situation. My gallvladder hurts so bad I can't eat and am losing pounds by the week:(
Ros - you know what withdrawal feels like - whether you are "addicted" or just physically dependent - withdrawing stinks either way. As I said my mother in law is 74, isn't addicted, took only for pain and she still had flu like symptoms when she stopped.
You've been down this road, you know what withdrawal feels like, so if you have to take them for pain then you do - when you stop you probably will go through withdrawal all over again but it is what it is. Just be mindful that it addictive and be careful.
I sure hope you feel better soon - you've been through the ringer that is for sure!
Oh ok so they never gave you enrgy or made you feel good mentally.
Well since were always taking them strictly for physical pain then it shouldn't be any problem.
Im not really addicted to them I jist have had a lot of injuries that have made me take them for an long period of time so my body them needed them.
Ugh:( guess she will have to help me get off them if I became that way. But my gallbladder and hernia hurt so bad I can't eat or move barely:( so I actually am in a ton of pain. It's been 13 or 14 days since I took my last hydrocodone so I don't think it's WDS anymore that it's truely pain.
Oh I forgot to mention it is very addictive so if you got addicted to opiates you will get addicted to tram
Hey Ros - these docs prescribe it as a non-narcotic, non-addictive pain alternative but it acts on your opiod receptors just as an opiate would. You can read post after post after post on how horrible the withdrawals from tramadol is. My mother in law took it after she fractured her back for just a couple weeks and that poor 74 year old woman suffered withdrawals when she stopped taking it. Be careful with this - take it sparingly and only when you absolutely have to have relief - like anything else if you start taking it regularly you are gonna withdraw all over again. You are probably fine now at this point but be very aware what you are taking.
yes it is an opiate and it does come complete with horrible opiate withdrawals. If you just took a few you will be ok but consider yourself warned.lol
