first few days are the hardest, you're well on your way and believe me, you're lucky you're sleeping - I'm jealous! With the restless legs thing, i onder if I've stumbed on something...or it may be pure chance. Anyway, I was struggling quite bad with RLS - I thought it was one of the main reasons I couldn't sleep. Then I started drinking a lot of oral rehydration drinks - you know the sort of thing I'm sure, electrolyte replacement that I was taking because of my bad diarreah, I had been taking a couple a ay before that and that didn;t help, but last couple of days I've had about 5 a day and no RLS. Coinicidence? Maybe, but it kind of makes sense to me. While I was struggling witht the RLS it felt as though my blood was full of vinegar or something - really kind of acidic. Now I'm drinking loads of salts and the RLS has gone away. I'd be interested to know if anybdy else tries this and finds that it works.
just came home my boyfriend made me go for a car ride to the store then he got something to eat-i still really cant eat yet as nothing stays in yet. i got your friend request and i accepted i hope it worked-still figuring it out

Day 2 was like this for me too when i tried cold turkey. Good luck!!!
no its okay im not mad i guess it is kinda funny-lol
Would you get PO'd if I told you that you just made me laugh really hard!!!!
My husband didn't know that I was going through AWD, so he thought I had the flu and slept on the couch. His version of empathy was, "I'd su*k to be you!" I wasn't about to use what little bit of energy I had belting him. The next couple of days are rough, I won't lie, but it gets better - much better, on day 5. You actually feel like you are going to live afterall and are happy about it. Try to force yourself to eat some protein, even if just small amounts, drink boat loads of water or tea, walk around, even if just inside, and try to stay distracted. Try to watch something funny on you tube, or watch funny movies. If you can sleep, do that. You just need to do what ever to get through the next couple of days. By Monday, you will feel like a new person!
came to my boyfriends house cuz i didnt want to be alone at home. im miserable and really do feel like i have the flu.now i want to go home where i can be comfortable and suffer and not feel bad about it. he knows what im going thru and all he can say is "im sorry baby, u will be okay" i swear to god next time he says that to me im going to punch him in his face. cuz im not okay, not this minute not this second
Day 2 was horrible for me. I felt the exact same, knew I needed to move but just couldn't. Reading got me through those days. I read all day long on days 2 & 3 and it really helped. I am working on day 5 and actually wanted to go for a walk today. Hold on tight for the ride you are almost through the worst of it!! Good luck.-Jami
You're at day 2,almost at the half way mark!!!!!!!!! Glad to hear that reading has helped.I know it's hard to get up and get moving but try and just force your body to do it.A 15 minute walk outside in the fresh air can make a big difference.Once you get going it gets a little easier and afterwards you feel a lot better.Dig deep and hang in there. You can almost see that light at the end of the tunnel......Kim
Keep plugging along. It will get better. 2 down just 5 to go! Your doing just wonderful!!

Keeping busy is the best way to get through this. Try to do all you can to make the time go by. Everyone is different, but some say days 2-4 are the worst, but again, all are different. You can and WILL get through this...just remember that. Keep telling yourself it will be over soon,.
