No matter how it is sugarcoated, and it is made to sound less potent than morphine........JUST DONT take it.
It has a nice little anti-depressant mived in with it as well. Bet your dr. didnt know that either. Most of them dont.
I feel for you, but I truly hope you will get rid of them asap. Its just not worth it. Trust me, the w/d are worse than anything out there! I have known people who get addicted/dependent very quickly.
Good-luck to you
Yeah, don't take that ****! Everyone's right about them being worse to come off of than hydros. Just coming out of the other end of that hideous road. Good luck!
Hi! I was on Hydrocodone before he put me on Tramadol. This is 3years ago now but for me the Tramadol did not work very well at the dose i was at. So of course i started medication myself by bumping the dose up. Very bad idea for me i was up to 6-8 50mg a day and ran out early. This was pretty much a year after my accident so i was very ignorant to narcotic pain meds.My doc gave me as many as i wanted. Well i ended up in the worst kind of w/d i ever had. Since my doc was not read up on them he did not know what was going on with me. Ran every test in the book until i was refered to an differernt doc. after 4 weeks and she spotted it in 5min. So i was going thru cold turkey w/d whitout knowing it. Anyway i would listen to the other posters here and also 125 pills are to inviting. Hope this helped and good luck. Thanks, f1swede
I also heard you can get seizures from them. And also I am so sorry to hear about the end of your relationship. He sure picked a really bad time for that. I have a few choice names that I would like to call him but I am sure they will get deleted from here. So you know what I mean. if you do decide to take any be careful and take a few as possible and stop as soon as possible. I would rather talk plain old tylenol I find tramadol / ultram don't do much for pain. I tried them and they did sweet f all. couldn't even get rid of a headache with them.
I'm having a steroid injection, as well as some deadening medicine put in my lower back. I have a protruding disc with radiating pain down my legs, I hope it helps! -Beth
I am glad you realize what you need to do....If you don't mind me asking , what kind of epidural's are you going to have??
